Getting to the Isle of Arran
Caledonian MacBrayne operate the 2 ferries that run to the island. Check out their website for ferry times, information or to make a booking.
The introduction of RET (Road Equivalent Tariff) has made a short break more viable with cheaper fares for passengers and vehicles.
The journey from Ardrossan to Brodick takes 55 minutes and from there it takes approximately 30 minutes to travel to Lochranza.
Buses meet the ferry and go all over the island. For more information see their website here.
The other ferry - Claonaig to Lochranza - takes you straight to the door! It takes 30minutes but is non-bookable in the summer. Check out their website for full details. During winter months it runs from Tarbert to Lochranza.
